Creation of the Electronic Platform for Occupational Health and Safety

On January 15, 2024, was published in the Official Gazette the Governmental Agreement Number 229-2014, the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare through the Department of Occupational Health and Safety.

The following is a brief summary of the same:

 

The Electronic Platform of Occupational Health and Safety has been established with the purpose of facilitating the provision of services in the field of occupational risk prevention. The provisions formulated are intended to regulate the minimum operating conditions of the platform, addressing aspects such as registration, registration and authorization, specifically adopted to the services offered.

Article 4 is amended: Users will have the ability to enter the system by obtaining a username and password through the initial registration process available on the platform. Each user assumes responsibility for ensuring the proper use of his or her password, and the Information Systems Directorate shall be the entity in charge of enabling and/or disabling such passwords as appropriate.

Article 8 is amended: Notifications corresponding to the actions registered in the processes managed by the platform shall be communicated through the profile of the requesting user, both within the same platform and through the institutional e-mails authorized for such purpose.

Article 12 is amended: for the purpose of safeguarding and archiving updates and documents through the corresponding electronic platform, the necessary security measures will be implemented to ensure the integrity of the information.

The agreement becomes effective eight days after its publication, January 24, 2024.
