Mario Salazar

Managing Partner of Andersen in Guatemala.

Mario Salazar, Managing Partner of Andersen in Guatemala, has more than 30 years of professional experience in the areas of accounting, finance, internal administrative and fiscal control.  His experience includes the execution and management of several projects such as:

• Analysis of operations, their accounting and tax impact.
• Income tax reviews of national and transnational companies. 
• Accounting, financial and tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions. 

Mario has full experience serving clients from different industries, with emphasis in pharmaceuticals, courier and cargo, health care, commerce and industry.

He has been a professor at the Francisco Marroquin and Rafael Landivar Universities.

Prior to joining Andersen, Mario Salazar was the founding partner of Trust Consulting, a professional services firm with an excellent track record of experience. For 14 years he was Manager of Tax Consulting at Arthur Andersen Guatemala.
